Working with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families.

Therapeutic Approach The underlying modality of the therapy Sara practices is Psychodynamic Psychotherapy influenced by Melanie Klein, Wilfred Bion and D.W. Winnicott. Psychodynamic Psychotherapy focuses on gaining insight through uncovering unconscious content and on how life issues resurface in the client-therapist transference relationship. Believing however that Psychotherapy should be flexible and tailored to meet the individual needs of clients this Psychodynamic approach is combined with techniques drawn predominately from Somatic Psychotherapy, Mindfulness, and Systemic Family Therapy.

A holistic approach to the acquisition of psychological wellbeing is practiced with attention placed on the mind, the emotions, the body, and relationships.

Ethics
Holding the belief that Psychotherapy should be affordable and accessible to all people Sara has a policy that she does not charge more than a client can afford. She has a sliding scale of payment which is negotiated with clients at the beginning of therapy with generous concessions available for full time students, the unemployed and pensioners.

Sessions are conducted in a peaceful and entirely confidential environment.
